Oh, The Places You'll Go!

I just joined the kellymom.com FB page, and a topic started on the wall was fun. They asked, "where have you nursed?" So I started thinking about it, and this is the list (besides super obvious ones like "in my rocking chair at home") off the top of my head:

in 2 movie theaters, in the tub, while sitting on a toilet (the story involves me and a stomach issue- sorry for the TMI!), in restaurants while eating and while ordering, friends' bedrooms/dens/living rooms, in the shoe department at Macy's at Oak Park Mall in my hometown, in a back room of a hair salon while talking with my stylist, LLL meetings with multiple other mommies (hooray!), in fitting rooms, in church services, Drs offices, nursing lounges, Mother's room at BRU, and cars (not while moving, except in a carwash, once). My most memorable nursing story is probably when I was back home visiting when Oliver was 3+ m. o. and Bubby's dog had puppies. I nursed while she gave birth to 1 or 2 of the puppies and then the rest of my trip, the two of us (me and mama dog) would nurse our babies together. The place I happened to usually sit to nurse was where she happened to be with her newborns, so it was dubbed "the nursing mother's corner." It was special. That's all I can think of right now.

To the other nursing mamas who read this, where are some interesting spots you've nursed?
